By using Proven Waters, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Safety comes first
Marine forecasts, fish counts, maps, alerts, trip listings, community reports, and recommendations may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or wrong. Always check current official weather and marine warnings, vessel readiness, regulations, and local conditions before departure.
Proven Waters is not a navigation chart, emergency service, legal fishing-regulation source, or guarantee of weather, catch, trip availability, or safe passage.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for activity through your account or device. Do not misuse the service, probe or disrupt its systems, evade access controls, automate abusive traffic, impersonate another person or organization, or submit unlawful, misleading, dangerous, or rights-infringing content.
Community and partner content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Proven Waters a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.
We may label, limit, remove, or preserve content to protect safety, privacy, accuracy, source integrity, or legal obligations. Do not publish another person's exact fishing spot, private information, or image without permission.
External sources and bookings
Official feeds, landing schedules, boat listings, maps, and booking links are operated by third parties. Their terms, availability, prices, refunds, and privacy practices apply when you use their services. Proven Waters is not the booking provider unless explicitly stated.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proven Waters is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service or decisions made from its information.
Changes and contact
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version.
